Jenny, our Operations Director, is a law graduate. Among her other roles, she manages our GCSE maths and English programme and a wide range of IT and other projects.
Janet is the training director of PBD: she is responsible for managing the company’s training programmes and is the line manager for the team of tutor/assessors. Janet was originally a teaching assistant, obtained a level 3 in children’s care learning and development and spent many years as an assessor and training manager with a large national provider. She was recruited at the very beginning of PBD in 2007 and helped to develop all the policies and operations. Janet is also a qualified internal verifier.
Although our base is in the East of England, we have learners (and tutor/assessors) in most regions (London, SW, SE, East, W Midlands, E Midlands, Yorkshire & and Humberside and the North West). In regions where we don't have a presence, we are still happy to take on new learners provided there is enough demand to justify recruiting a locally based tutor/assessor who can provide learners with face to face support.
