I am very pleased with my achievement, never in a million years did I think I would manage it but it has been thanks to Vicki (my assessor) for having faith in me and giving me the confidence to carry on. Thank you for everything
It’s really convenient working on line and I’m enjoying the course. And it’s always lovely to meet my assessor as she has offered me so much help and encouragement and has kept me on the right track
OMG! Five years ago I vowed that one day I would qualify as a nursery nurse and work on the special care baby unit. In that time I qualified at level 2 and level 3 , holding down 2+ jobs and juggling childcare. Today my dream came true. Thank you to everyone who has helped me!
I have worked with many training providers over the years and I can say that your online training is the best that I have come across, my staff have found it to be so easy and there is always someone on hand to help and support. Also I noticed that unlike other training companies, your assessors are thorough and reliable, if they say they are coming they come. The work that they set out for staff is explained thoroughly and staff know exactly what is expected of them.
Very impressed. From day one, PBD have been prompt and efficient. Their assessor is really passionate about playwork and the e-portfolio system makes everything so much easier.
I know how hard everyone has worked to get this qualification off the ground. Your team has demonstrated quality assessment that is far superior to assessment I have seen for this qualification in other centres. Keep up the good work!
‘My reflective practice has increased greatly since I started this course. I have started to think in a different way, understanding that reflection sometimes leads to ‘changes for the better’ and sometimes leads to ‘no changes’ as the reflection has shown good practice.’
‘When I started the qualification I was a bit nervous about the fact I wasn’t going to be going to a college to have lessons with a tutor. But I was reassured that if I need help I would get it and quickly, I found that it was better for me with my family commitments to do the course on line with you.’
My assessor was fantastic, always approachable and more of a friend than an assessor. I never felt pressured or out of my depth: this is why I managed to complete my course so quickly, easily and stress free.
I have found PBD to be really helpful and e-portfolios are a brilliant way of storing evidence!
Good at managing time. Good at feeding back to management. Good at going at the right pace for the learners. PBD work differently and they work well.
I have found this course very exciting. I have found my tutor to be really lovely and helpful and the eQual site is extremely helpful. The assessments set have been very clear with lots of information to help me fulfil the requirements.
“The fact that I am having to research so much to understand the criteria, and get the right information to respond to it, is helping me to learn so much more and at a deeper level than ever before – I would like to say that this is an excellent course because it really makes you think, understand and learn in the most positive way – so well done to the team at PBD”
It’s great to work and train at the same time – we haven’t needed extra staff cover, which is good for the children and the nursery. Our level 3 student has learnt so much and really grown in confidence and ability. Your tutor is very approachable and knowledgeable and we enjoy her visits.
My assessor is brilliant and offers lots of support and encouragement. For many of my colleagues with other providers, their qualification has just dragged on and they have lost focus. Thank you PBD!
Although our base is in the East of England, we have learners (and tutor/assessors) in most regions (London, SW, SE, East, W Midlands, E Midlands, Yorkshire & and Humberside and the North West). In regions where we don't have a presence, we are still happy to take on new learners provided there is enough demand to justify recruiting a locally based tutor/assessor who can provide learners with face to face support.
